FAQs

How can therapy be helpful?

Therapy helps you build a healthy relationship with yourself and your needs. I support you in thinking about your needs and building self-awareness so you can better understand yourself, make meaningful and positive choices, and create more emotional balance in your life.

What is a psychodynamic approach to therapy?

This approach focuses on the underlying unconscious processes that influence our behaviour, feelings and emotions. It largely helps to understand why and what drives our personality and behaviours by looking deeply at our past and early experiences.

Why do I need a consultation?

These 15-minute FREE consultations are there so you are able to ask any questions you may have, but also get a sense of the way I work and ensure that we are the right fit for each other. You can book this via the contact page.

What happens in our first session?

Just like the consultation, this session will be used as a longer assessment, so we will think more in-depth about your needs and what therapy can help you with, whilst also deciding together how long you would like to work (long-term/contractual/short-term).
